The Mission
More than a Basketball.
Basketball can be a microcosm of life.
The court does something few environments can. It puts young people in real pressure situations alongside teammates, facing challenges, experiencing wins and losses and it teaches them how to respond to all of it.
DSS exists to create more of those moments and make sure the right voices are there to guide young people through them. We’re not just running camps and events. We’re building an environment where kids can have fun, compete, grow, develop real relationships, work with coaches and mentors who care, and take the values they learn on the court into everything they do off it.
